COLUMBIA, SC — They'll be a reunion of Gamecocks in a couple of weeks. The 19 player roster for Dawn Staley's Team USA Women's National Team Camp is set and Rookie of the year Allisha Gray of the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever guard Tiffany Mitchell will be in the fold.
The former Gamecocks participated in the second training camp back in February in Columbia. This camp starts April 24th in Seattle and will end with an exhibition against the China National Team on the 26th.
Dawn and her staff will assess the players to finalize the roster for the upcoming FIBA World Cup which starts September 22 in Spain.
Las Vegas Aces number one pick and former Gamecock A'ja Wilson will miss out on this camp as well. She will be prepping for her first training camp in Las Vegas.
