Tuscaloosa, AL (Sports Network) - Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy sustained a concussion in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 28-27 loss to Auburn.

Head coach Nick Saban announced the injury at a post-game press conference, adding that it's not a serious ailment.

"He's going to be okay," Saban said. "I think he's okay. It's nothing serious. He's checked out good, so we don't have any issues or problems from that standpoint."

McElroy suffered the injury when he was driven into the ground shoulder-first on the penultimate drive of the game. Alabama ended up punting on the drive, and backup A.J. McCarron threw four incompletions on the Tide's final opportunity to win.

McElroy finished with a career-high 377 yards and two touchdown passes in the loss.

Saban also added that wide receivers Julio Jones and Darius Hanks incurred injuries in the contest. Jones, who came back to play toward the end of the game, suffered a bruised knee, while Hanks bruised his ribs.
