Jennifer Bellamy joins WLTX from our sister station 13WMAZ in Macon, Georgia.

There she worked as a Multimedia Journalist from June 2008 until she joined News19 in January 2011.  

While at 13WMAZ, Jennifer reported, anchored and produced shows.  She hosted the station's "Get Answers" series, finding out answers to viewer question about a wide range of topics like requirements for sex offender registries, rules for off-duty law enforcement officers, hunting squirrels in neighborhoods and finding free or low-cost dental care.

Jennifer also hosted their weekly Restaurant Ratings segment, awarding 13WMAZ's golden spatula each Friday.

She worked on the station's 2009 "Crime in the City" series that won a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award.

Jennifer is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia and a proud Bulldog.  She graduated from UGA in May 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a concentration in Broadcast News and a minor in Spanish.

While at UGA, Jennifer worked as a reporter, anchor, producer, and videographer for the student-run news cast, NewSource15.

During the summer of 2006, Jennifer worked as an intern at Turner Sports in Atlanta, working on highlight reels for the NBA season. The following summer, Jennifer interned at FOX5 in Atlanta with the I-Team, working on a series of investigative stories that covered former Congressman Pat Swindall.

When she's not reporting, Jennifer enjoys music, reading, movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a national, non-profit, service sorority.
