Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Texas Southern football will play six home
games while its tries to defend its 2010 Southwestern Athletic Conference
title.
Texas Southern will play two home games at Reliant Stadium, against Prairie
View A&M (Sept. 10) in the Tigers' season opener and Southern (Nov. 5). The
other home games will be played at Delmar Stadium against Texas College (Sept.
17), Alcorn State (Sept. 24), Alabama State (Oct. 8) and Central State (Oct.
22) on Homecoming Day.
Kevin Ramsey will serve as Texas Southern's interim coach this season after
the university forced out head coach Johnnie Cole two weeks ago. The Tigers
finished with a 9-3 record and their first conference championship in 42 years
last year.
