Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) - Shooting Clays. A sport that is very seldom recognized, mostly due to the fact not very many people know it exists.
Well it does, and Orangeburg Prep senior Wilson Haddock constantly shoots in the 90s out of a score of 100.
"You have to have great hand-eye coordination," said Haddock. "Plus I love watching the clays explode."
"I'm his coach," says Boo Gray, who loves it too. "He's an excellent shooter," said Gray. "He's a great student and a great kid too."
Haddock is locked and loaded in the classroom too, as he sports a 4.6 GPA. He loves math, science and recently fell in love with literature. "Our teacher just makes it a real interesting subject," Haddock said.
The young man also teaches Sunday school, a member of the National Honor Society and News 19's Player of the Week.
