Eastover, SC (WLTX)--Bond is set at $15,000.00 for a Gadsden man charged in connection with a fatal weekend crash.

The wreck, which involved one vehicle, happened about 5 a.m. Sunday, May 1, along Vanboklen Road about one mile west of the town of  Eastover, in Richland County.

Investigators with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say 29-year-old Nathaniel Shiver, of Gadsden, was driving a 2002 Nissan that went off the road, overturned and ejected the occupants of the vehicle.

Shiver and one of the passengers were transported to the hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries. A third person in the vehicle died at the scene. That person's name has not yet been released.

Shiver is charged with felony dui in connection with the wreck.
