Rapper Flo Rida Arrested in Florida on DUI Charge

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Rapper Flo Rida has been charged with driving under the influence after police in Miami Beach say they spotted his Bugatti driving erratically. A crowd pleaded with police to let him go.

An arrest report says Flo Rida, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, asked officers to let him walk home after failing a field sobriety test early Thursday morning.

According to the report, Flo Rida had blood-shot eyes and slurred speech. Police say he told them he'd had a few drinks and didn't think he could walk a straight line. A crowd gathered and one fan even offered to give the rapper a lift home.

The 31-year-old was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license. He is being held on $2,000 bond.

An email sent to his agent was not immediately returned Thursday.
