Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - An early morning fire in the Oak Grove community caused $60,000 in damage to a home.
Firefighters say around 3:08 a.m. Monday, they got a call of a structure fire at a home on Maple Road. When fire crews arrived, they found flames coming from the garage area.
The owner of the home was not there when the fire took place.
One Lexington County firefighter was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
