Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The University of South Carolina has suspended the football team's quarterbacks coach, G.A. Mangus, after he was charged with nuisance conduct in Greenville.

According to Greenville police, Mangus was arrested after they say he urinated into the street, outside of a restaurant on Main Street. Previous Coverage: USC QBs Coach G.A. Mangus Arrested in Greenville, SC

A written news release from the USC Athletics Media Relations department said Mangus "has been suspended indefinitely following an incident that occurred early this (Tuesday) morning in Greenville, head coach Steve Spurrier announced today."

"We are disappointed in his actions and will handle it accordingly," Spurrier said in the written statement.

Spurrier said in the news release that Mangus is suspended from all coaching activities until "this matter is resolved."

Mangus, USC quarterback Stephen Garcia's coach, has worked with Spurrier and the Gamecocks for three years.

Before working at USC, Mangus was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Middle Tennessee State, where he worked with former Gamecocks assistant Rick Stockstill.
