Columbia, SC (WLTX) - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says an Elgin man has been arrested and accused of sending nude pictures of himself to an 11-year-old child.
Charles Douglas McKinnon, 62, has been charged with 32 counts of dissemination of harmful materials to a minor.
Prosecutors with the attorney general's office say they began their investigation after receiving information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
According to arrest warrants, McKinnon took nude pictures of himself and sent them through the internet to the child. Prosecutors say digital evidence was seized from McKinnon's home, and will be examined.
The case will be prosecuted by the State Attorney General's office.
