Since January, all products bearing the Energy Star logo are required to undergo third-party testing.
South Carolina residents planning to purchase new, ENERGY STAR qualified appliances will be eligible to receive rebates ranging from $50 to $100 starting Friday, January 27, 2012 through Sunday, February 5, 2012 through the state's portion of the federal stimulus program.
