Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Three students had to be taken to the hospital to be checked out after a bus and truck collided Monday morning.
The collision took place at 7:45 a.m. at Bitternut Road and Osprey Lane near Hopkins.
After the crash, three students complained of head, neck, and shoulder pain. They were taken to Palmetto Health Richland to be examined.
A district spokesperson says the students were on their way to Hopkins Middle School at the time.
State troopers say the truck rear-ended the bus; that driver is now charged with driving too fast for conditions.
