Deputies Make Big Drug Bust at Traffic Stop

Swansea, SC (WLTX)--A Lexington County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit deputy and the K-9 police dog made a major drug bust in Swansea. 

The two discovered 10 pounds of marijuana worth about $16,000 and $6,000 in cash after a traffic stop on the 1900 block of South Bound Road.   On Friday afternoon at 4PM, deputies arrested two men driving in separate vehicles after the discovery.

The two men arrested were 32 year old Qureshi Dowling from Greenville and 26 year old Stanford Felder from Denmark. 

Dowling is facing drug trafficking charges, and Felder is charged with possession of marijuana.  Both are awaiting a bond hearing, and being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
