Forest Acres, SC (WLTX) - A fire Monday morning at an apartment complex in Columbia has displaced 15 people.
Fire crews were dispatched to The Landings at Forest Acres on Covenant Road around 10:40 a.m.
Officers say the fire was contained to one building, but a total of eight units were affected.
Fire crews say they believe a child playing with a lighter sparked the fire. It's estimated the blazed caused $70,000 in damage.
