Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Want to wish the USC baseball team well as they head to the College World Series?
Wednesday morning's your chance.
The university will have a send-off for the team Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Carolina Stadium in the team parking lot. Fans are encouraged to be there by 10 a.m. People can park in Lot 1, located on Williams Street.
Head Coach Ray Tanner will be there to address the fans before the team leaves.
USC clinched their third straight berth in the College World Series with Monday night's 5-1 victory over Oklahoma. The team will be seeking it's third consecutive national title.
The Gamecock's first game in Omaha is against Florida at 9 p.m. Saturday night.
WLTX will be traveling to Omaha to have live coverage and reports on the team as they make their historic run.
