Suspect Robbed Arby's, Hit Employee in Face

Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a suspect they say robbed a fast food restaurant at gunpoint.

Just before 9:45 p.m. on April 29, deputies say a suspect walked into the Arby's at 10220 Two Notch Road. According to investigators, the suspect pointed a gun at several employees and demanded money.

Before he got money from the register, deputies say he hit one the victims in the face with an open hand.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community's assistance in identifying a suspect(s) wanted for armed robbery and assault.

The suspect was wearing a red baseball cap, gray hoodie with the words "Thirty" and the number "30" on the front.
