Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested three people in connection with a methamphetamine bust.
Officers took 38-year-old Douglas Pyke, 33-year-old Kenan Palmer Kurhan, 21-year-old Steven James Carlton. Pyke is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, while Kurhan and Carlton are charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Officers say on June 12, they went to serve a narcotics warrant at a home on Arrowwood Road when they saw a car pull out of the driveway. When deputies stopped the vehicle, they say they found Kurhan inside. Sheriff Leon Lott says Kurhan told deputies that he had meth in his car and in the home.
When officers went inside the home, they found Pyke and Carlton. Officers say they found meth in Pyke's room.
Officers released several photos. One of the images shows a bag with Disney characters on it that deputies say contains meth.
