Forrest Koumas (Bruce Thorson-US PRESSWIRE)
Omaha, NE (WLTX) - USC has announced that sophomore pitcher Forrest Koumas will be the probable starter for the team's game Sunday against Arizona.
Koumas has been limited this season due to injury. He was 2-2 on the season with a 4.56 ERA and three saves.
"I mean I'm ready to go," he said. "I haven't pitched in a while. I feel pretty good, arm's good."
Fans will likely recall his performance in Game 1 of last year's title series, when he allowed just one run in over five innings against Florida.
Game time is set for 8 p.m.
