Newberry County, SC (WLTX) - Newberry County deputies are searching for a suspect they say both fired shots at and ran over a victim.
The incident took place around 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Highway 121 near Calvary Church Road.
According to investigators, the victim was walking down Highway 121 when a car pulled up beside him. The passenger of the car yelled at him, deputies say, and then fired two shots at him. The victim ran, but the car looped back and struck him, knocking him down.
The car then drove away.
The victim suffered only minor injuries.
The vehicle is a light blue Buick, possibly a 1998 model. The driver of the vehicle was a female, while the passenger was male.
