(WLTX) --- He could go down as the greatest pitcher to ever put on a USC uniform and now, Roth is officially playing baseball for a living.

Roth tweeted late Monday night that he has signed his contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the team that selected him in the ninth round of the amateur draft.

The senior wrapped up his career with some stellar performances in Omaha including a monster game against Kent State, his last victory in a Gamecock uniform.
