Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- A man walking on Highway 6 and Mimosa in Lexington around 10:50pm Friday night was hit by a vehicle, according to Trooper Jones with Highway Patrol.

Trooper Jones says a 19-year old female was driving a 2002 Kia SUV when she hit the victim.

The victim was airlifted to Palmetto Richland Hospital with serious injuries.

Jones says no charges have yet been filed.

This incident is still under investigation.
