Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Officials are asking drivers to plan for delays while renovations are made to Ft. Jackson's main gate.

The gate will receive additional lanes and existing lanes will be widened. A new sign will also be constructed.

Gate 2 on Forest Drive is scheduled to close for renovations through September 20.

Gate 4, he Percival Road entrance, will be open only for inbound traffic from 5 to 9 a.m. to help facilitate morning traffic.
