(WLTX) --- Former Clemson defensive coordinator Kevin Steele has reportedly joined the LSU football staff in an administrative role.
Steele, was at Clemson for three years before he was replaced by former Oklahoma coordinator Brent Venables.
Before coming to Clemson, the Dillon native had worked under Nick Saban at Alabama. He has also had stops at Nebraska, Tennessee and Florida State.
From 1999-2002, he was the head coach at Baylor, compiling a 9-36 record. Before that, he was the linebackers coach for the Carolina Panthers in the Dom Capers era.
