Sumter, SC (WLTX) - Few details are coming out about a trooper who shot and killed a Sumter man Saturday night.
Investigators say 24-year-old Devin Taylor scuffled with the Trooper during the arrest Saturday night off Highway 521 in Sumter. During that fight, officers say the trooper feared for his life and shot Taylor.

Taylor was arrested in 2008 on a misdemeanor charge of being a minor under the influence. According to the Department of Motor Vehicles, he was driving on a license that had been revoked for leaving the scene of an accident.

"I still can't believe it yet, because I was just with him a little while before that," said Greg Taylor.
