Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police have arrested a man they say robbed a bank in the Harbison area Monday afternoon.
Brandon D. Washington, 22, is charged with armed robbery.
Just before noon, officers say Washington entered the Regions Bank at 149 Columbiana Drive. Witnesses tell CPD Investigators that Washington wore a mask and pointed an object that was believed to be a handgun at a bank clerk and demanded money.
No one was injured.
Washington was arrested soon afterward at the 300 block of Harbison Boulevard. The stolen money was recovered near the scene.
