MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Two people have been rescued after they got stuck at the top of an amusement ride in Myrtle Beach.
Authorities say it happened Monday evening at the Skyscraper ride, which pivots four riders around a 160-foot tall arm. There were no injuries.
Meanwhile, a man hurt last weekend when he fell 60 feet from a zip line in Myrtle Beach continues to recover.
Authorities say Gerard O'Sullivan has been in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center's intensive care unit since the Friday fall in which he broke his ankles and several ribs.
He was one of a group of 30 Irish residents in this country on summer work visas. His parents are expected to arrive Tuesday to see him for the first time since the accident.
