(WLTX) - Warner Brothers has released a statement in response to the tragic shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
Warner is the film studio which released "The Dark Knight Rises."
Police in Colorado say a gunman went into a midnight showing of "Rises" and killed 12 people and wounded dozens others.
"Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time."
Variety magazine also reports the studio canceled the Paris premiere of the movie scheduled for Friday.
