COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX) - Richland County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a body found off Wessinger Road Sunday morning.
Deputy Arielle Riposta says two people walking on Wessinger Road Sunday morning found the man's body near Boswell Rd.
Investigators say it appears the man had been shot. They are trying to determine how long the body had been there.
They are waiting for the Richland County Coroner to identify the man.
