(USA TODAY by Maria Puente)  Live by reality TV, die by reality TV, get a mate by reality TV.

Everybody's doing it, why not Kate Gosselin?

The woman who agreed to have her life, marriage and divorce chronicled on reality TV with her husband Jon and their eight children (twins and sextuplets), now says, a year after her show was cancelled, that she's lonely and can't meet men.

Even with eight kids.

Maybe especially with eight kids.

So she's signed up to shoot a dating show, even though it's not yet been picked up by a network, reports Eonline and People.

"She is ready to find love again and to move on from her past," an anonymous source tells E! "She's excited, this is a chance to start something new." And she doesn't mind if the whole world is watching; the more the merrier, in fact.

After all, Gosselin and her brood (11-year-olds Cara and Mady, and 8-year-olds Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel) first appeared on our radar screens in 2007 when she was still married to Jon Gosselin and still adjusting to the rigors of bringing six babies into the world all at once in Jon & Kate Plus 8. Then that all fell apart with the marriage in 2010 and Kate and kids reappeared in Kate Plus 8. That show was cancelled last year.

"I clean up the house, put the kids to bed, and there I sit," she said in a February episode of Dr. Drew's Lifechangers.

Still, Gosselin has been transformed since her early days in reality TV. She's got a glamorous new look, she's been working out by training for marathons and she's looks great for a 37-year-old mother of eight
