Columbia, SC (WLTX) - For the second time in just a few weeks, a home on the corner of Farrell Drive and Fay Avenue caught fire Wednesday.
According to the Richland County Fire Marshall's office the second fire has been ruled as arson. The home was unoccupied at the time. An electrical short was blamed for the first fire.
Richland County Sheriff's office is continuing to investigate.
When the first fire occured at the home, De'Marion Dewyer, 7, saw flames coming from the house and ran inside to get his family members out.
