ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Lancaster County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a possible homicide after a 42-year-old man was found dead in his still-running car in the woods.
The Herald of Rock Hill reported that deputies responded to a call Wednesday evening about a car at the edge of woods with the engine running.
Sheriff's Maj. Matt Shaw says deputies found the body of Timothy Alan Wissinger of Lancaster.
Shaw says evidence at the scene suggested foul play, but officials are not yet calling the death a homicide.
Members of the State Law Enforcement Division are helping Lancaster officials with the investigation. Shaw says an autopsy is planned.
