Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested two suspects they say broke into a convenience store Friday morning.

Antonio Prescott, 31, and Christopher McGorder, 33, are both charged with burglary.

Around 3 a.m. Friday, deputies got a call of a burglary at the S&S Corner Mart at 8308 Winnsboro Road. When he arrived, the responding officer noticed a side window was open. The owner came to the scene as well and opened the store for the deputy.

Inside, the officer said he found the suspects hiding out. Deputies say Prescott jumped through the broken window, got in a car, and left the scene.

After a short chase on Interstate 77, Prescott was arrested.
