Kiawah Island, SC (WLTX) - The first round pairings have been announced for the upcoming PGA Championship in South Carolina.

The four-day tournament will be played starting this coming Thursday at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.

Following its tradition, event organizers will gather the winners of the first three major champions of the year--Masters winner Bubba Watson, U.S. Open Champion Webb Simpson, and Open Champion Ernie Els--in their own grouping. They will play Thursday at 1:20 p.m. and Friday at 8:10 a.m.

Tiger Woods will be paired with defending PGA Champion Keegan Bradley and 2010 PGA Champion Martin Kaymer.

In addition to those groups, other former PGA Champions will be clustered during the early rounds.

* Shaun Micheel (2003), David Toms (2001) and John Daly (1991), who start Thursday at 8:20 a.m. on No. 1 and Friday at 1:30 p.m. on No. 10.
 
* Padraig Harrington (2008), Phil Mickelson (2005) and 2012 United States Ryder Cup Team Captain Davis Love III (1997), who start Thursday at 1:40 p.m. on No. 1 and Friday at 8:30 a.m. on No. 10.
 
* Y.E. Yang (2009), Rich Beem (2002) and Vijay Singh (1998 and 2004), who start Thursday at 1:30 p.m. on No. 10 and Friday at 8:20 a.m. on No. 1.
 
All 108 of the top players in this week's Official World Ranking are in the field for the tournament.
