(WLTX) -- Saturday afternoon, two counties reported failures in their Emergency Management 9-1-1 systems.
Clarendon County reported an intermittent failure of their 9-1-1 system until just before 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Repairs to the system have returned 9-1-1 services to normal.
Fairfield County's 9-1-1 services reutrned shortly afterward. No information as to why the counties' services were disrupted has been given, but the South Carolina Emergency Management Division has verified that both counties are functioning normally again.
