Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) - Kershaw County deputies have arrested a man who they say led them on a chase and had a meth lab in his truck.
Officers took 51-year-old James Godfrey into custody.
Drug agents were told that Godfrey was operating a mobile meth lab in the back of his pickup truck. Agents spotted Godfrey driving the truck and attempted to stop him, but they say he drove off.
He was eventually stopped when a deputy forced him off the road. During the pursuit, officers say he threw several handfuls of white powder out the window.
Once stopped, deputies say Godfrey did not cooperate and had to be removed from the vehicle through the window. Officers located a mobile meth lab in the back of Godfrey's truck.
