Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Pets Incorporated says a dog was found with a plastic jug on her head.
A concerned person brought the dog, which the pet center has nicknamed "Pickles," to the animal shelter Tuesday night.
Pets Inc. says the dog's head had been forced through the hole, and it seems apparent that someone tried to starve the dog to death. When they found her, "Pickles" could barely stand.
Officials with the shelter say they're giving the animal a special diet so she can process food again.
