Richland County, SC (WLTX) - The Richland County Coroner's office has identified a man who died in a car collision Thursday afternoon.

Coroner Gary Watts says 27-year-old Nicolas J. Barras died at Palmetto Health Richland.

Around 6 p.m., Watts says Barras's car ran off of Garners Ferry Road in the 11300 block. The vehicle overturned, and Barras was ejected from the car.

Paramedics took him to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
