Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A man is in the hospital after a stabbing in Columbia Saturday night.
According to a news release form the Columbia Police Department, it happened just before 6:00 p.m. at the 1300 block of Richland Street near the Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Police say two homeless men had just finished eating dinner at the church when they began to argue.
That is when they say the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach and the arm.
Police say the victim had to undergo surgery for his injury. They say the suspect was seen running away from the scene.
