Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter County, SC
Columbia, SC (WLTX) - An investigation is underway into the death of a Shaw Airman who was found around 2pm Friday afternoon.
Colonel Clay Hall released the following statement: "The men and women of Team Shaw are grieving the loss of a member of our Air Force family. Our thoughts and prayers are with family, friends, and co-workers during this difficult time."
The name of the Airman has not been released.
The cause of death is undetermined.
