Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested two people they say are responsible for a bank robbery Thursday.

Officers took 26-year-old Jason Colon and 27-year-old Arthur Macon into custody. Colon is charged with armed robbery, four counts of kidnapping; Macon is charged with armed robbery and driving under suspension.

Deputies say just before 5 p.m. Thursday, the suspects entered the TD Bank at 8850 Farrow Road. Sheriff Leon Lott says Colon pointed a gun at the teller, told the person that this was a stickup, and demanded money.

Lott says Colon left after taking money and walked around to the back of the business, where Macon was waiting for him in a car.

A person spotted the suspects and called deputies who were able to take them into custody a short time later.
