Charlotte, NC (WLTX) -- WLTX has a full crew on the ground in Charlotte for the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
This year, well beyond any national political convention prior, the focus around the world is on the Social Media aspect of this years' convention season.
Proven in Tampa at the Republican National Convention, where, according to a blog post from Twitter, more than 4 million Tweets were sent about the event. During Romney's speech commentary maxed out on Twitter with 14,000 Tweets per second about Romney or the RNC.
When the DNC opens at 5pm Tuesday, it will be interesting to see how the Democrats compare to the Republicans in the Social Networking realm.
Have a look at some behind the scenes photos sent out to our Twitter followers earlier today, taken by our Manager of Technology, Andy Peeler; and some pictures J.R. Berry Tweeted during the SC Delegate's Breakfast this morning.
