Orangeburg, SC (WLTX)  -- The Orangeburg County Coroner has identified the victim of a fatal wreck on Interstate 26 Thursday afternoon.

Officials from the Orangeburg County Coroner's office say the victim was 19-year old Alexandra Rubino from Charleston.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 3:55pm near mile marker 164.

Troopers said Rubino was traveling eastbound in a 1998 Mazda when she lost control of the vehicle, went off the left side of the road, hit a tree, and caught on fire.

Officials say Rubino was pronounced dead on the scene due to blunt force trauma.  

This accident is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
