GREAT FALLS, S.C. (AP) - A Great Falls man has been arrested and accused of shooting two horses, killing one of them.
The Herald of Rock Hill reported that 24-year-old Kendrick Martinez Culp is charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
Robert Wishert said he went to feed his horses Sunday evening and found a 25-year-old female that had been shot three times. A 12-year-old male horse was found dead next to a creek.
Wishert says his female horse is expected to survive.
Sheriff's deputies are looking for a Lancaster man they say was with Culp when the shooting occurred.
Culp is being held in the Chester County jail. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.
