SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man who escaped from a South Carolina prison work release program has been found at a Myrtle Beach strip club.
Investigators said 41-year-old Billy Hanna walked away from his job with a lawn care company in Mount Pleasant on Sept. 5.
Authorities say they followed Hanna to the Grand Strand, just missing arresting him twice before finding him in the strip club around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Hanna started serving a five-year sentence for grand larceny out of Horry County in December 2010.
Investigators say Hanna will likely face additional charges because he may have forged checks and committed burglaries during his escape.
