Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for suspects in two separate incidents in which store clerks were assaulted.

One of the crims took place at the Food Mart 2 located at 2220 Decker Boulevard. Just after 11 p.m., the victim said he had just locked up the store and was walking to his car when two men approached him.

The suspects assaulted the victim with an unknown object, stole his wallet, the keys to the store, and to his vehicle. They then ran from the scene.

The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries.

The other incident took place also around 11 p.m., this time at The One Stop located at 4335 Broad River Road.

Deputies say two masked men entered the store, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from the cash register. During the robbery, they struck a clerk in the store several times.

After taking the money, the suspects fled the scene.
