Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) -- The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck that occurred Friday night around 11:45pm in Orangeburg County.
Corporal Bob Beres says the driver was traveling west on SC 70 in a 2007 Chrysler 300 when the driver ran off the right side of the road.
According to officials, the driver overcorrected the vehicle and the car overturned. The driver was then ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Corporal Beres says the victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
