Columbia, SC  (WLTX) - A new job recruiting program is being launched in Columbia.

It's called "Famously Hot Jobs", and its powered by the TweetMyJobs global platform. 

The program is designed to let local businesses showcase their job openings in a new digital format. Tweet My Jobs pushes job openings through 10,000 job channels--segmented by geography, job type, and industry--to get instant feedback on openings.

Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin joined representatives of Tweet My Jobs for a news conference to unveil the new program. Tweet My Jobs representatives say it's a simple, free tool for business and job seekers in the community.

"[It's] Easy, simple," says Brenden Cotter with Tweet My Jobs. "Within minutes you're in and out and I don't have to come back to it because jobs are pushed back to me via Facebook, Twitter, text or e-mail, and those are my choices or preferences to hit which ones I want. So you're streamlining and making more effective and easier that process of searching for a job."
