Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A fire at a Columbia apartment complex has left some residents displaced.
The blaze happened at the Landings at Forest Acres Thursday evening.
Fire officials say $75,000 in damage was done to two apartments. One person was injured after he became alarmed and jumped out of his window. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The fire was started by some unattended cooking in a kitchen.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
