Kershaw County, SC (WLTX) - Kershaw County deputies have arrested two suspects in separate, unrelated child molestation cases.
Officers have taken 52-year-old Cleve Edward Burchett and 18-year-old Ricky Van Ross Jr.
Burchett is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor third degree.
Deputies say Burchett inappropriately touched an underage family member in September. A family member alerted the police of the incident.
In the other case, Ross Jr. is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor second degree.
The victim told deputies Ross Jr. began abusing her when she was a little girl, and that it continued for seven years.
