The zoo posted on it's website this morning that Autumn gave birth around 11:49 p.m. last night
They have posted a photo gallery of the newborn online as well.
The zoo says both mother and calf are doing well this morning and posted online: "Thank you to all the well-wishers around the world that joined us for this exiting event."
A physical is planned tomorrow, and the zoo says that is when they will find out if the calf is a boy or a girl. The Greenville Zoo says the mother and calf could be on exhibit as early as today.
